CONSILIUM: in the Holy Scriptures the word advice often means project, design. The gift of advice helps us to plan the future, to reflect before acting, to evaluate and choose well among the different alternatives that life offers. The gift of counsel acts as a "new breath" in the conscience, suggesting to it what is permissible. Consciousness thus becomes "the healthy eye" which acquires a sort of new vision, thanks to which it is possible to choose wisely the path to take.
