The name of the watch is a tribute to the Venetian submarine Nereide, a Nautilus class submarine built in the Arsenale between 1911 and 1915 and commissioned to the engineer De Bernardis of the Royal Navy. The watch is inspired by the design of WWI submarines and withstands a pressure of 20 atmospheres.

In 2021 Italy commemorates the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, known throughout the world as the father of the famous poem of the Divine Comedy.
To celebrate his genius, we have produced a Limited Edition of 200 pieces. The numbering of these clocks goes from -100 to +100 and represents Dante's journey from the first Circle of Hell to the last Heaven of Paradise.
Only 200 Nereid Dante pieces were produced in honor of the 700th anniversary. The progressive number on the case side identifies the Limited Edition, present in the same way on the certificate of authenticity that accompanies the watch.
The dial is the most distinctive element of these models. It is characterized in fact by the slightly contrasting print of the Infernal Circles in the models numbered from -1 to -100 and of Heaven's Skies in those numbered from +1 to +100.
To make this Limited Edition even more unique, the first Songs of Hell and the last Songs of Heaven have been engraved on the straps. These straps are made in Italy with genuine handcrafted leather.
Unlike the Nereide collection, these models feature a visible caseback that reveals the movement decorated with a fully customized oscillating weight. The color is rose gold in the infernal version, gold in the heavenly one. The basis of the movement is the Seiko NH35.
We have reinterpreted one of the most popular bracelets in the world of watchmaking, adapting it perfectly to the shapes and finishes of the case of the Nereide model. Numerous tests have been carried out to obtain an ergonomic and quality product with satin and polished finishes. A perfect fit on the wrist is guaranteed by a butterfly closure which makes the watch practical to use in any situation.
